+Open Minded: Having travelled constantly during his childhood, Gunnar has met many people and learned to be respectful of them, regardless of who they may seem to be at first. Before he joined SOS he was more outspoken about his views, but has quieted down a bit to keep a pleasant image.

+Good Natured: He’s really just a sweet guy at heart. Gunnar’s goal in the industry is just to make his fans happy and maybe have a little money left over to dedicate to his video game collection.

+Outgoing: He’ll try whatever’s thrown at him if someone comes along (or drags him along)!

+Humorous: Gunnar’s a lover of puns and memes, and he’s always looking to brighten up other people’s days! His social media pages are chock full of silly faces and videos, and he always makes an effort to connect with fans.

=Guileless: If you’re looking to say some bad words, you’d better not do it around Gunnar, or else he’ll tell his mom. Or at least, he’ll tell one of the SOS agents. He’s stayed pretty pure throughout his life, and his mannerisms tend to reflect that.

=Quirky: Gunnar tends to have a lot of little...strange things about him. He’s particularly stuffy to the idea of non banana-flavored milk, always brushes his teeth three times a day, and could talk for hours on end about his favorite video games. Some people find his quirks endearing, and others, not so much.

-Easily Spooked: He’ll never learn his lesson. If he plays a horror game before bed or hears a spooky ghost story, he must sleep with the lights on, or else the creepy things will get to him, right? Considering he has to share rooms with people now, a small night light will do...

-Disorganized: He’s always had his mother to pick up after him and tell him what to do, and now that he’s out of the house, he could really use some help getting that stubborn soy sauce stain off of his favorite hat.

-Self Indulgent: Wow, what a tough day of training! He’d better reward himself with some video games, a nap or two, and perhaps a donut...or three? What do you mean it’s only noon? We have another training session in a few hours!?

-Sticky-fingered: Someone left a nice bag of potato chips lying in the dorm in plain sight...guess they’re Gunnar’s potato chips now.

Ω HISTORY Ω

Gunnar’s parents met while his mother was on a business trip to Seoul. She bumped into a kind florist running a street booth right under her hotel, and they soon fell in love. The two had trouble deciding where they should raise their only son. Anywhere seemed wonderful if they were together. Gunnar’s mother needed to stay in California for her work, though she also wanted her son to experience life in both countries. She took overseas work opportunities in Korea when possible, which resulted in a lot of back and forth travelling. They stayed in one place for about a year at a time, which made it difficult for Gunnar to maintain solid relationships with his real life friends.

Gunnar grew up in several places, but he calls the internet his true home. No matter where he stayed, there was always a router and a good connection. He played video games a lot to pass the time, and has more fond childhood memories clearing levels than he does spending time with other kids. He participated in several online communities, and started up a youtube channel for himself, featuring mainly playthroughs of games and videos of him singing.

His mother worried that her son would grow up without any extra-curriculars that would interest colleges or potential hirers, and so she jumped at any opportunity to fix this problem. She knew he had a love for video games, though he wasn’t very good any multiplayer games that had a competitive scene.  Once she found out Gunnar was posting his singing videos online, she began to take time out of her busy schedule to take Gunnar to singing lessons both in Korea and America. And thus, with all this practice, Gunnar’s love for singing began to grow, and his singing voice improved considerably..

Gunnar finished up his last two years of high school in Seoul, and now came the time that he had to figure his life out. By now, Gunnar had a decently large amount of fans online. He decided to take the chance and make a career out of something he loved. And so, he grabbed his favorite hat and headed to audition for Save our Seouls.

Ω FUN FACTS Ω

-He would join a professional mmorpg team, but he isn’t all that great at them, and he prefers single player games.

-He’s known for his vibrant style and personality! Part of his goal as an idol is to mix in his own more colorful, kinda “glorified American” style to his looks and general aesthetic.

-Another one of his goals as an idol is to be sponsored by a snack company of some sort, though it’s lower on his list.

-His hair is dyed, it’s originally black all over.

-His stage name “PK” is a reference to his favorite game, Earthbound! Also, PK = Psychokinesis = The ability to move something without touching it ==> His ability to move people's hearts with his music without touching them its so cheesy lol

-His mother is a higher-up in a large video game company, and his father is a florist :3c

-Another career path he considered was becoming an interpol agent, but was turned away due to a history of torrenting video games.
